I meet with a lot of people through consultations, goal reviews, and check-ins and there’s one theme that always shows up: people try to do it on their own.
It’s not that they don’t care or aren’t motivated. Most of them do. They’ve got a home gym collecting dust, or a Planet Fitness membership that’s been hanging around for years. Some even use them consistently but if they’re coming to us, it’s because something’s missing.
And for many of our members already inside the gym, it’s the same story, just a different chapter. They’ve made progress, but they’ve hit a wall. They’ve got goals like “I want to get stronger” or “I want to lose weight,” but they’re frustrated because it’s not happening as planned. The effort is there, but the result isn’t.
That’s where we come in.
At CrossFit Ares, we don’t just sell “access to classes.” We use a prescriptive model, which means we take the time to understand exactly what you need to get to where you want to go. Everyone’s story is different, and your plan should reflect that.
We’ve coached people across all walks of life from complete beginners to seasoned athletes. But the one thing that never changes is our approach: coach the human in front of us the right way, not our way.
Our CrossFit program blends strength and cardio in a community-driven setting that keeps people motivated and accountable. Our private and semi-private training focuses on the individual perfect for those who need a tailored approach to get started or to keep progressing.
Just yesterday, I met with a gentleman in his 60s who owns a fence company. He’s on his feet all day and bikes regularly, but he wanted to build more strength as he gets older. We didn’t try to fit him into a group class. Instead, we recommended 30-minute private training sessions designed specifically for his needs. We’ll reassess after a couple of weeks and keep adjusting because that’s what care looks like.
That’s what we do here: we give people what they need to win.
Whether you’re a current member or just someone thinking about getting started, here are a few steps to help you move forward:
If you’re a current member and you’re curious how else we can help outside of group class, talk to us. Shoot me an email, and we’ll figure out the best next step for you.
If you’re not a member yet but you’re ready to finally get real results with real guidance, give me 15 minutes in person. You’ll see exactly how we operate and how much we care about helping you succeed.
Because you were never meant to do this alone.
