We serve athletes who want more
Ares Strength & Performance helps middle school, high school, and college-age athletes become stronger, faster, more durable, and more confident through structured, coach-led strength and conditioning. We serve athletes who want more than random workouts or crowded team training — they need individualized coaching, proper progression, and a plan built around their sport, goals, schedule, and current ability level.
Who do you serve?
We serve middle school, high school, and college-age athletes who want to improve their strength, speed, power, conditioning, durability, and overall athletic performance.
Our primary athletes are:
- Athletes preparing for an upcoming season
- Athletes who want to stand out in their sport
- Athletes who need more structure than a regular gym or team lift provides
- Athletes who are underdeveloped physically and need proper coaching
- Athletes returning from injury or needing a bridge between rehab and sport
- Busy athletes who need flexible training options around school, practice, games, and travel
We also work with parents who want their child training in a safe, professional, structured environment where the focus is long-term development, not just beating them up with hard workouts.
What problem are you solving?
Most athletes are either not training enough, training inconsistently, or following programs that are too generic for their actual needs.
A lot of young athletes are told to “get stronger” or “work on speed,” but they are not given a real plan, proper coaching, or consistent feedback. Team lifts can be crowded. Regular gyms lack guidance. Random workouts do not build long-term development. Online programs are often cookie-cutter and do not account for the athlete’s sport, age, schedule, movement quality, injury history, or goals.
We solve the gap between wanting to become a better athlete and actually having the coaching, structure, and accountability to do it properly.
How do you solve it?
We solve it through customized strength and conditioning programs delivered in a small-group, private, or online format.
Every athlete starts with an evaluation so we can understand their goals, sport, training history, movement quality, strengths, limitations, and schedule. From there, we build a plan that fits the athlete instead of forcing the athlete into a generic program.
Our coaching focuses on:
- Strength development
- Speed and agility
- Power production
- Movement quality
- Injury risk reduction
- Conditioning
- Confidence
- Long-term athletic development
- Consistency and accountability
The small-group format allows athletes to train around others while still receiving individualized coaching and attention. This is a major difference from large group training, where everyone usually follows the same workout regardless of need.
What makes you unique?
The biggest difference is that we are not a random workout program, a crowded team lift, or a generic sports performance facility.
Ares Strength & Performance combines individualized programming with a small-group coaching environment. That means athletes get the structure and personal attention of private coaching while still benefiting from the energy and accountability of training with other athletes.
What makes us unique:
- Small-group custom training
- Individualized programs based on the athlete’s sport, goals, and needs
- Professional coaching led by Coach Kyle Bythrow, CSCS
- Flexible scheduling for busy student-athletes
- A focus on long-term development, not short-term hype
- Measured progress and coach feedback
- Training that builds strength, speed, durability, confidence, and consistency
- A personal setting where athletes are coached, not just supervised
We care about developing the whole athlete — not just making them tired.
What outcome or transformation do you create?
We help athletes become stronger, faster, more confident, more prepared, and more resilient.
The transformation is not just physical. Athletes learn how to train with purpose, move better, understand effort, stay consistent, and take ownership of their development.
The outcome we want is an athlete who:
- Feels stronger and more explosive
- Moves better and with more control
- Shows up to their sport more prepared
- Has more confidence in their body
- Understands how to train properly
- Builds habits that support long-term athletic success
- Reduces the chance of avoidable setbacks from poor preparation
- Develops the discipline and work ethic needed to stand out
The bigger goal is to help athletes become the version of themselves their future self will thank them for.
Semi-Private Strength & Conditioning
Our Semi-Private Strength & Conditioning program is the core of Ares Strength & Performance.
This program is for middle school, high school, and college-age athletes who want individualized coaching and a structured training plan while still training in a small group setting. Each athlete follows a program built around their sport, goals, ability level, training history, and schedule.
Unlike large group training, this is not one generic workout for everyone. Athletes receive coaching, feedback, and adjustments based on what they need. The small-group format allows for more coach interaction, better attention to detail, and a more personal training experience.
This program is best for athletes who want to:
- Build strength
- Improve speed and power
- Move better
- Prepare for their sport season
- Gain confidence
- Train consistently
- Reduce injury risk
- Develop long-term athletic habits
The transformation is helping athletes go from underprepared, inconsistent, or unsure in the gym to confident, stronger, and better prepared for their sport.
Private Training
Private Training is for athletes who need a fully individualized, one-on-one coaching experience.
This is best for athletes who have very specific goals, are returning from injury, need extra attention, or require a more controlled training environment. It is also a good fit for athletes who need help rebuilding strength, improving movement quality, or bridging the gap between rehab and full return to sport.
Every session is built around the athlete’s needs. The coach can adjust the plan in real time, spend more time on technical details, and progress the athlete at the appropriate pace.
This program is best for:
- Athletes returning from injury
- Athletes with specific performance goals
- Athletes who need more attention than a small-group setting allows
- Athletes who need movement correction or confidence rebuilding
- Athletes who are new to training and need a more personal starting point
The transformation is helping athletes rebuild, refine, and return stronger with a plan that fits exactly where they are
Online Programming
Online Programming is for athletes who need structure, coaching, and accountability but cannot consistently train in person.
This is a good fit for athletes who are away at school, in-season, traveling, or managing a busy schedule. Instead of following a random online template, each athlete receives a program built around their sport, equipment access, goals, and availability.
The athlete still has connection and guidance from a coach, so they are not left guessing what to do or how to progress.
This program is best for:
- College athletes away at school
- In-season athletes
- Athletes who travel
- Athletes with limited availability
- Athletes who want structure outside of in-person training
- Athletes who need a plan that fits their equipment and schedule
The transformation is helping athletes stay consistent, strong, and prepared even when they cannot be physically in the facility.
